CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire authorities say a woman found dead had suffered “multiple sharp injuries.”

Police said 42-year-old Melissa Hatch, of Madison, was found dead in a home on Friday. A juvenile was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a news release Sunday night an autopsy determined the cause of Hatch’s death was “multiple sharp injuries including deep incised wounds of the neck.”

The statement said the investigation into the circumstances of Hatch’s death remain active and ongoing.
