BOSTON (WHDH) - Northeastern University is sharing a look into the future with its new robot.
NASA’s humanoid “Valkyrie,” can walk and wave her hands.
Researchers hope she’ll be able to go to Mars in order to help astronauts get there.
She’s been with Northeastern’s robotics department since April.
They say programming her was no small feat.
Valkyrie will be at Northeastern for at least two more years.
Researchers hope to eventually see one of her descendants on Mars.
