Overall, the clouds won the battle today as sunshine was limited to peering in an out for some.  With winds onshore, it was a relatively cool day along the coast with highs in the lower 70s there, while we reach the upper 70s inland.

There won’t be much change tonight as mostly cloudy skies prevail.  As more moisture gets close to southern New England, there could even be a few sprinkles/light shower across far Southeastern Mass.

A similar set-up appears tomorrow with mostly cloudy skies, a cool onshore flow, but a mainly rain-free day with highs in the lower 70s coast, upper 70s inland.  The best chance for a sprinkle or light shower will be across the Cape/Islands in the morning.  Showers are limited, so I don’t expect this to be a “change the tee-time” type event.  It’s an ok day overall, just not a great beach day.

If you like heat and humidity, you’ll find it mid-week with temperatures surging toward 90 by Wednesday.

The next chance of widespread storms with a cold front will arrive Thursday.

Have a good rest of the weekend!
