BOSTON (WHDH) - The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will release the transcript of the noises picked up on the data recorder from sunken cargo ship El Faro.
The El Faro sank in the Bahamas last year during Hurricane Joaquin. All 33 people onboard the ship died.
Three of the El Faro victims were from Massachusetts. Keith Griffin, of Winthrop, and Kingston’s Jeffrey Mathias both attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Mariette Wright was from Brockton.
