ROYALSTON, Mass. (WHDH) — Town officials in Royalston ordered ribbons on public property to be taken down after residents complained.
Blue ribbons were put up around the town to show support for the police force.
Some residents in the town weren’t too happy and complained.
One woman in town said the choice whether or not to hang the ribbons should be left up to each person.
The town said ribbons have to be removed by Friday night before the town fair on Saturday.
