BERLIN, NH (WHDH) — The New Hampshire District Attorney’s office says it is investigating the death of a 2-year-old child in Berlin over the weekend.

The child, identified as Madison Dana, was at her home on York Street on Sunday afternoon when 9-1-1 was called.

The child was transported to Androscoggin Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead later that evening.

Following an autopsy, officials have ruled that the death was a homicide as a result of blunt impact.

Officials say they are still investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Hampshire State Police at 603-419-8124.
