TEWKSBURY, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on Shawsheen Street in Tewksbury.
Tewksbury Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office confirmed a man was hit by a pickup truck around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The DA’s office said the victim, a 70-year-old man from Tewksbury, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the DA, the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
There are no charges at this time. The incident is still under investigation
According to the DA, an initial investigation suggests the man was not using a crosswalk.
