SOMERVILLE, MASS. (WHDH) - Fire officials rushed to the scene of a fire on Thurston Street in Somerville just after 5p.m. on Friday.

Neighbors said they saw flames shooting out from the basement in the back of the house.

Officials said two people were working inside the front of the house when the fire started and had no idea that the back of the house was on fire.
