BELLINGHAM, MA (WHDH) — Emergency crews responded to a deadly fire in Bellingham Friday morning.
A neighbor noticed flames coming from the kitchen of the home and called for help.
It took emergency responders about 35 minutes to get the fire under control.
Crews reported heavy fire and smoke when they arrived at the scene and were notified that someone was inside.
During a search, crews found a body in the basement.
The state fire marshal says the investigation is just beginning.
