BOSTON (WHDH) - Outdoor clothing brand Patagonia will donate all of its proceeds today to grassroots organizations that protect the environment.
In a letter, company CEO and President Rose Marcario writes that she wants customers to show love to the planet.
Marcario says profits from all Black Friday sales will be donated to underfunded organizations that help protect clean air, water and soil.
The company’s website says it already donates one percent of its profits to nonprofit environmental groups through an organization called “One Percent for the Planet.”
