WESTWOOD, MASS. (WHDH) - Emergency crews responded to a scene in Westwood following reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
Police and emergency teams were at the scene on Wetherbee Drive where the incident took place.
A medical helicopter transported the victim to a Boston-area hospital.
Officials say the driver was not hurt, but the pedestrian suffered serious injuries.
Police say the scene is being investigated but there is no sign of criminal wrongdoing.
