A jumbo Powerball jackpot is up for grabs Wednesday and people in one New Hampshire town are hoping strength in numbers will help them win.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is now at $1.5 billion, the largest jackpot in the world. In Derry, New Hampshire, Jen Lague organized a Powerball pool for thousands of people on her Facebook group, Bringing Derry Together.

"A week ago Sunday, I heard the Powerball pool was up to $400 million and I put it on my Facebook group saying, hey does anyone want to enter a pool with me? Thinking 40 or 50 of my friends would want to do it," said Lague. Instead, more than 2,000 pitched in on Lague’s Powerball pool and tickets have been printing almost nonstop in Derry.
The drawing is Wednesday night at 10:59 p.m.
