BOSTON (WHDH) - One person is dead and one person is in custody after a shooting in Dorchester Thursday evening.
The shooting happened on West Cottage Street. Police said the suspect and victim knew each other and were having an argument when the suspect opened fire. Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said police do not know what the argument was over and detectives will continue to investigate.
The victim is a male believed to be in his 20s or 30s. Police recovered a gun from the scene and are interviewing the suspect.
