LOWELL, MASS. (WHDH) - A group of people playing the popular smartphone game Pokemon Go were in the right place at the right time when they got help for a man overdosing in a park.

Molly Callery, Joshua Heyl and a third friend were looking for the character Pikachu on the game and their search led them to North Common Park in Lowell. Over by the basketball courts, they found an unresponsive man sitting near the benches.

The friends realized the man had overdosed on drugs and Heyl called 911. An ambulance came to take the man to the hospital, where he was revived.

“It felt nice to know that I helped someone,” said Heyl.
