THOMPSON, Conn. (AP) — Authorities say a man and woman are in custody after two people were stabbed in a Connecticut carjacking and the suspects led police on a chase in Massachusetts.

Police say a stolen vehicle crashed Thursday morning in Thompson, Connecticut, and the suspects carjacked another vehicle. Connecticut troopers say two people suffered non-life threatening injuries when they were stabbed in the carjacking.

Authorities say the suspects were apprehended in Worcester, Massachusetts, after leading Massachusetts troopers on a chase and ramming a cruiser and another car. The suspects and troopers were not injured.

Christopher Harding and Celina Cousineau, both of Killingly, Connecticut, were taken into custody by Massachusetts troopers. Connecticut State Police say they are applying for arrest warrants for the two.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Harding and Cousineau have lawyers.
