Police have charged two 18-year-old men and three minors with destroying several ice sculptures.
The sculptures are in several locations in Salem as part of the city’s annual Salem So Sweet Chocolate and Wine Festival.
One of the sculptures depicted a 3-foot high alpaca before the suspects allegedly destroyed it.
Police say surveillance cameras captured the crime. They also say they are checking the suspects’ cell phones to see whether they recorded the incident.
Police say the suspect could face additional charges.
