SAUGUS, MASS. (WHDH) - A child was rushed to the hospital Friday night after police said he was hit by a car and dragged in Saugus.
Police said the boy was crossing Walnut Street wih two other people when he was hit by an SUV.
The SUV dragged the boy about 40 feet before it stopped with the boy pinned underneath.
The boy was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained on the scene and spoke with police.
