STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) — State Police made a big drug bust during a traffic stop in Sturbridge Friday morning.

Authorities said police dog Alex, helped troopers uncover 26 pounds of marijuana in the car.

A trooper pulled the car over early in the morning, and asked for back up after suspected drug activity.

A police dog was brought in and alerted troopers to the drugs.

Troopers say they then found the marijuana in the trunk of the car.
