DERRY, N.H. (WHDH) - Police in Derry, New Hampshire are investigating after multiple gunshot was were fired into homes Tuesday night.

Police responded to a report of shots fired on Pinkerton Street after 11 p.m. on Tuesday. The residents of the home said they were inside when they heard a loud noise outside.

Two bullet holes were found on the outside of the home.

Police found the bullets went through the wall, through the living room, and into an interior wall of the home.

Wednesday morning, officers spoke with the resident of another home on the street who reported that his home was also struck with bullets that passed through the exterior wall and through the living room before being lodged in the wall.

Police say it is possible the two homes were damaged in a single incident.
