BERLIN, NH (WHDH) — New Hampshire’s attorney general says that an arrest was made in the murder of a toddler in Berlin.

Officials arrested Roger Joseph Dana, 43 of Berlin, and charged him with second-degree murder.

His child, identified as 2 1/2 year old Madison Dana, was at her home on 109 York St. on Nov. 27 when 9-1-1 was called.

The child was transported to Androscoggin Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead later that evening.

Following an autopsy, officials ruled that the death was a homicide as a result of blunt impact.

Dana will be arraigned on Monday in First Circuit District Division Court in Lancaster.
