MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say a man was robbed at knifepoint while playing the “Pokemon Go” smartphone game.

Police say the 24-year-old was walking on a bicycle path when he was approached by two men early Wednesday in Manchester. One pulled out a knife and held it to the man’s throat. The victim was told to give up his cellphone and wallet, which he did.

Twenty-nine-year-old Raymond Lavigne and 26-year-old Michael Drake were later arrested on charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest. Lavigne also was charged with falsifying physical evidence because police say he discarded the phone.

Police say they believe the suspects happened upon the victim by chance.

Both men were being arraigned Wednesday. It wasn’t immediately known if they had lawyers.
