(MISSION HILL) — Boston police are searching for a man accused of trying to sexually assault a woman on Mission Hill.

Police say the incident happened at the Kevin Fitzgerald Park on Saint Alphonsus in Roxbury on Saturday afternoon.

The victim says the man came up from behind and threw her to the ground before attempting to sexually assault her before running away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s with tattoos on both arms. The suspect was said to be wearing all black, and he was last seen riding a mountain bike toward Huntington Avenue.

The Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit asks anyone with any information relative to the suspect’s identity to call detectives directly at (617) 343-4400, and can call anonymously to the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800)494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
