Police searching for suspect after shooting death in Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - Police and the attorney general’s office are investigating following a homicide in Manchester.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Paramedics were also on the scene.

The focus of the investigation is currently on a vehicle that was seen at the intersection of Merrimack and Beech Street Wednesday night.

One shooting victim was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as Jonathan Vazquez-Ojeda, 25.

Vazquez-Ojeda was transported to the hospital, where he later died.

An investigation into the shooting is “active and ongoing,” according to police.
