HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut say they are seeking a man they say attacked another person with an ax handle at a gas station.
Hamden police say the suspect, described as a man in his 50s, began arguing with the victim when he backed up his car near the gas pumps Friday afternoon. Authorities say the suspect then took an ax handle out of his minivan and hit the victim several times.
The suspect then fled the scene. Responding crews treated the victim at the scene.
Anyone with information concerning the suspect in the assault is asked to contact Hamden police.
