UNDATED (WHDH) — There were reports Thursday that a deal to send Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett to LA is close to being done.
Yahoo! Sports reported overnight that the Clippers just need approval from ownership.
The deal would send Kevin Garnett to the Clippers and the Celtics would release Rivers from his contract.
In return, the C's would get center Deandre Jordan and two first round draft picks.
