Rhode Island mom charged for underage party

The party’s over for one mom in Rhode Island.

Jayne Donegan is accused of hosting a birthday party where alcohol and drugs were available to teens.

Police arrived and saw dozens of cars parked nearby and teenagers running away from the house towards the woods.

Inside the home officers saw several underage teens had been drinking.

“Two of the participants that we identified were incapacitated to the point that we felt they should seek medical attention,” North Kingston Police Chief Thomas Mulligan said.

When Donegan answered the door officers said she may have been drinking after smelling alcohol on her breath.

She was arrested and charged with simple assault, obstructing an officer and getting alcohol for underage people.

No other arrests were made.
