BOSTON (WHDH) - Sam Adams Brewery is paying tribute to beloved Red Sox slugger David Ortiz by brewing up his own beer.
For one day, the company will offer a ‘Big Hapi’ mango-juice-infused double India Pale Ale.
There will be 514 bottles of the specialty brew: one for each homer Papi hit during his major league career.
The beer will be available tomorrow at the Sam Adams Brewery in Boston located on 30 Germania St in Jamaica Plain.
Proceeds from bottles sold will go toward the David Ortiz Children’s Fund.
