A prank at Harwich High School turns out to be no joke.

The principal says a group of seniors spray painted part of the school the night before their senior skip day.

The school was open late because of an event.

Once the principal saw what happened Friday morning, he says he called the senior class president and made the students come in to clean it off.

One student says it went too far.

“It was just a senior prank that seniors do every year that got a little out of hand. We will be here tomorrow cleaning up and it will look like nothing ever happened tomorrow, everything will be back to normal,” Scott Doncaster said.

The principal says the cleaner the kids used to get rid of the paint made a few of them feel sick.

The fire department responded saying they just needed fresh air, however the kids still went home for the day.
