FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Four people are under arrest for allegedly helping a murder suspect escape from a Florida courtroom but the suspect remains at large.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said Sunday that Dayonte Resiles’ 18-year-old girlfriend, LaQuay Stern, 22-year-old Winston Russell and two 17-year-old twin brothers are charged with escape and accessory after the fact to murder.

Israel said Stern and Russell waited in a getaway car while the twins were in the courtroom Friday when the 21-year-old Resiles somehow undid his shackles, leapt a barrier and fled. He said the twins coughed into a cell phone as Resiles fled to signal Stern and Russell that he was on the way.

Israel said Resiles was given a change of clothes and driven to an apartment. Israel said Resiles’ current location is unknown.
