Saturday’s snowstorm filled New Bedford streets with snow, closing businesses early and bringing out the plows to work overtime.

Dozens of boats docked in the harbor and very few businesses remained open. Those looking for coffee found the Dunkin Donuts closed for the night and many ended up venturing to the local tavern, which stayed open.

"It’s a Saturday night and why let the snow stop us from having a good time?" said Brendon Webb.

State Police said no serious incidents were reported on the roads, apart from some spinouts.
