Much of yesterday was watching & waiting to see if it would rain (That’s how I roll) with my rain gear on Stand-By. Today, there won’t be much of that as we have rain already falling and will for much of the day. It’s a warm front on the move that won’t deliver any warm air but rather humid air to New England. This front will also drop around .5″ of rain across much of New England (only around .25″ or less on the Cape/Islands). Rain will taper to just pockets of mist & drizzle after 3pm with temps in the upper 60s for much of the day.

OK…great, so this front is outta here for the weekend, right?!

Well……..kinda sorta. We start tomorrow with clouds as well as some pockets of humidity/drizzle/ mist. As we step through the morning hours a cool front will charge out of New York helping to scour out the humidity, mist & clouds. The only problem is that this cool front will also pop off an isolated shower across the region from about 8am until 12pm. By mid afternoon skies will clear out and humidity begins to lower so any outdoor plans on Saturday afternoon will be fine. Temps warm into the 70s. Father’s Day is simply awesome. Sunshine and temps near 80 with low humidity. Great for the golf courses, tennis courts, beaches, pools or whatever dad wants to do.

Warmer & more humid weather creeps our way next week.

Enjoy your weekend!
