People across America are remembering Florence Henderson, a.k.a Mrs. Brady.

Henderson was best known for her role in “The Brady Bunch.”

She was a fixture on the television screens, starring in the title role of the Broadway hit, “Fanny.”

She was also the first female host of “The Tonight Show,” among so many other TV appearances.

One of her “Brady Bunch” children said she was an inspiration.

“She took what she did very, very seriously, she was very gracious, always,” said Barry Williams. “She was an inspiration with how to conduct yourself in public as a famous person.  She was so kind and would always take time.”

Barry, who played Greg on “The Brady Bunch” also expressed his condolences on Twitter saying, “Deeply saddened, Florence was one of the most gracious people I have ever known. Proud to call her mom and a life long friend. #RIPFlorence.”

And Marcia from the show, actress Maureen McCormick posted a photo and wrote, “You are in my heart forever Florence.”
