BOSTON (WHDH) - State Police say they are coordinating with law enforcement agencies across the country to determine if there is any connection to Massachusetts, but that so far none has been found.

In a press release sent out Sunday morning, officials say the Mass. State Police bomb squad has been in touch with bomb squads in New York and New Jersey to “share information.”

Police say they are analyzing information to determine if any of the events have any connection to Massachusetts but say that so far, “no nexus to Massachusetts has been found.”

An explosion rocked a crowded Manhattan neighborhood and injured 29 people, and a suspicious device discovered blocks away was safely removed early Sunday. Authorities called the blast intentional but said there was no evidence of an international terror connection.
