Police are investigating after a person was killed in a crash on I-95 northbound in Newbury early Wednesday morning.
According to police, a 2015 Dodge Ram crashed into the abutment of the Central Street bridge and then caught on fire.
The driver and only person inside the truck was determined dead at the scene.
He has been identified as a 54-year-old New Hampshire resident.
Two right lanes of I-95 northbound were closed for approximately three hours after the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
