We can wait for Ohio, but the nomination is still up for grabs.

Romney needed to shut down Rick Santorum, and he didn't. Romney has won three states, but two of the — Massachusetts and Vermont — are in New England and are the most liberal states. And in Virginia is not a deep South state.

So, on Super Tuesday, Romney has yet to prove that he can win the South, and he is going to need to win the South in order to win the Republican fight for the nomination. He did not do that Tuesday night.

Winning Georgia has given Newt Gingrich credibility even though it will be hard to see him winning enough delegates to get the nomination.

The winner on Super Tuesday was not a Republican, it was President Obama.
