MADISON, Conn. (AP) — The Madison superintendent of schools says it appears someone fired a BB gun at four school buses as they were leaving the shoreline town’s Daniel Hand High School.
Thomas Scarice sent a message to parents on Friday. In it, he says the window on one bus was damaged and two students suffered minor injuries, according to several television stations. The students did not require medical attention. They were eventually brought home on a different bus.
In his statement, Scarice assures parents the school system will “work with the Madison Police Department as they conduct their investigation and work together to ensure the safety of our students.”
