HYDE PARK, Mass. (WHDH) — An arrest warrant was issued for the suspect wanted in an assault in Hyde Park.

Police said Jeffrey LaBathe, 26, attacked his ex-girlfriend and her mother at their house on Huntington Avenue. He allegedly stabbed his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend and her 43-year-old mother. Both women were taken to the hospital, one suffering from life-threatening injuries.

LaBathe allegedly smashed five windows at the house and the windshield of a car parked in the driveway before he fled.

Police said a hammer and knife were recovered in a bedroom. The items were allegedly used by LaBathe in the confrontation.
