BROWN DEER, WI (WHDH) — Police in Wisconsin arrested a suspected drunk driver who was trying to pick up another DUI suspect.
Investigators said a man drove to the police department to pick up his friend who was previously arrested.
Police then had the man do field sobriety tests in the lobby and officers said he was drunk as well. They then arrested the man.
“Unfortunately, sometimes a poor decision is followed up by somebody else’s poor decision when they’re trying to help,” said Officer Nick Andersen.
Someone, who police said was sober, later picked up the two DUI suspects.
