MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - Police arrested a man who is accused of driving drunk, crashing into a police cruiser, and fleeing the scene.

Officers had stopped a vehicle on Hanover Street Tuesday night and were walking back to their cruiser when a white Jeep struck the driver’s side of the marked police vehicle.

The officers were not injured in the incident, and the patrol car suffered minor damage.

After the Jeep passed, officers entered the cruiser and attempted to pull over the Jeep, but the vehicle refused to stop. The car continued on before pulling over in front of his home on Lincoln Street.

Officers asked the suspect, Christopher Boll, 67 of Manchester, to step out of the vehicle, but he initially refused. He eventually complied and was arrested.

He is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
