BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — Bridgeport police say an 18-year-old man who was shot in the head has died, while another victim who was shot multiple times is expected to survive.

Authorities say Gregory Francilme died after being shot outside an apartment complex on Saturday afternoon. The second victim is being treated at a hospital. Officials say the second person did not cooperate with police on Saturday.

Police told the Connecticut Post that a 19-year-old man suspected of being the shooter was arrested later Saturday in Waterbury for an unrelated robbery. Officials are seeking a warrant for his arrest. His name wasn’t released.

Police say the motive for the shooting is still unclear.

Francilme was the city’s sixth homicide victim of the year. He would have turned 19 on Monday.
