BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) — Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a fatal weekend stabbing on Cape Cod.
The district attorney’s office says 18-year-old Kelly Ridley, of Hyannis, is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Barnstable District Court on charges of murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Ridley was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities say two men were stabbed outside a Hyannis home at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. One victim, 26-year-old Thomas Russell, died. Another victim remained hospitalized Monday. Police have not said what sparked the stabbing.
Ridley was originally detained Saturday for a probation violation.
It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.
