FULSHEAR, TEXAS (NBC) — A deer tied to a tree was rescued by a police officer outside of Houston.
Yesterday, Officer Zieschang received a strange call.
A young buck was tied to a tree in the backyard of a home under construction.
Zieschang arrived to the scene where he and construction workers were able to cut the deer loose and remove excess rope off its antlers.
The young deer was so grateful he made sure to walk back to the front of the house to personally thank Officer Zieschang.
It is still unclear as to why the deer was tied up in the first place.
