NORTHBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - Today is national coffee with a cop day.
The day is meant to boost officers’ relationships with people in their community.
“Coffee with a cop day” started in California in 2011. In less than five years, it has spread to all 50 states.
In Northboro, Tilz restaurant was buzzing with people eager to show their appreciation for the work their police department does.
Officers say it is equally important for them, to strengthen their bonds with civilians.
