SOMERVILLE, MASS. (WHDH) - Toys for Tots recognized an 11-year-old girl from Marshfield during their annual photo shoot fundraiser Sunday.
Lily Bowen had asked her classmates to help collect toys for those in need, even posting a video about the cause on social media.

She has collected almost 300 toys, according to her mother.
“It made me happy that kids were gonna have a good Christmas,” Bowen said.
She added that she plans to continue her efforts to spread the holiday cheer for many Christmases to come.
