LOWELL, MASS. (WHDH) - Crews spent much of Tuesday night cleaning up after a tractor-trailer crash.

The truck got stuck after slamming into a bridge on Lawrence Street.

The truck was too tall to drive under the commuter-line bridge and was sliced open on impact.

Overnight there were serious concerns over the stability of the bridge.

Inspectional services came out to make sure the bridge was safe for cars to drive under it, and also to make sure it’s safe for trains to go over it.

According to the commuter rail schedule there are no delays.

Police gave the all clear early Wednesday morning.
