NEWTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Service on the Green Line has resumed normal operations after a tree came down on overhead wires on the D branch.

Strong winds knocked the tree over onto the wires at the Woodland station. No one was injured.

Shuttle buses were operating between Riverside and Newton Highlands as crews worked to remove the tree.
