SANDWICH, Mass. (WHDH) — A 17-year-old driver and his brother crossed the train tracks on Spring Hill Road in Sandwich without stopping and their truck collided with an oncoming train.
The train hit the truck and sent it into the woods. Police said lights had been flashing to warn cars of an oncoming train, but there were no barriers to prevent cars from crossing.
Both teens are expected to be okay.
