An off-ramp on the Florida Turnpike has been reopened after a load of shoes were scattered across an exit ramp when a box truck overturned in the Miami area.

The incident occurred on the Florida Turnpike’s south ramp to Exit 2x, near Northwest 199th Street. The off-ramp as well as several lanes were closed as officials cleaned up the roadway. According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the Penske rental truck was hauling loads of used shoes. For reasons not yet known, the driver lost control on the ramp and overturned.

At one point, the truck was leaking fuel, but HazMat teams have since cleaned it up.

Three people were transported to hospitals because of the accident.
