The TSA is reminding travelers in Boston how to fly if you’re flying armed.

Officials say five loaded guns have been detected at Logan security checkpoints in the last 30 days.

One was detected Thursday morning, three were detected last week.

According to the TSA, travelers can only transport unloaded firearms as checked luggage in locked, hard-sided containers.

The guidelines also apply to replicas of guns.

Fines from the TSA for bringing a gun to a security checkpoint can range from $1,500 to $7,000.
