TYNGSBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - Tyngsborough police arrested two people Saturday in connection with passport thefts in Tyngsborough.

Tamara Reed, 29, of Tyngsborough and Joseph Anderson, 31, of Tyngsborough were both charged with receiving stolen property. Police said additional charges may follow.

According to police, officers responded to the home on Blossom Street shortly before 5:00 p.m. Friday for a report of an attempted breaking and entering.

When officers arrived, they found the upstairs bedroom had been gone through and a locked file cabinet was damaged.

Police said a black and gray North Face backpack containing clothes and grooming items was stolen, along with the military and personal passports of a man who lived in the home.

The stolen items have since been recovered.

The incident remains under investigation by Tyngsborough police.
